This week we had a Zoom session that had us diving deep into the competitive landscape, and honestly, it was one of those moments where everything started to click. Using our Product Positioning Map, we explored the axes of Emotional vs. Practical and Immediate vs. Long-Term, and be sure, plotting competitors is not easy but it felt like a mix of detective work and creative brainstorming. We uncovered products that tug at your heartstrings, ones that are all about the quick fix, and some that seem to be floating aimlessly in the middle. There were heated debates, some “aha” moments, and plenty of laughs. This wasn’t just about placing dots on a graph; it was about really understanding the market and carving out our space in it. By the end of the session, it felt less like homework and more like building the foundation for something truly impactful.
