This week, we realized the need to focus on the main challenge our persona faces: the transition between work and home. We redefined our How Might We: How might we support working mothers in the mental and emotional transition between work and home to achieve balanced and relaxed functioning?
We identified the app's core values: perspective, family, love, and presence. We also created a scenario illustrating how the user will experience our solution and mapped out four main user flows.
The app will use a digital phenotype approach to gather data like typing speed, heart rate, sleep quality, and screen activity. It will also integrate with tools like calendars, smartwatches, and location services to learn user habits and create a personalized experience.
To provide emotional support, the app will implement ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) strategies, including CBT exercises, mindfulness practices, and time management tools, focusing on emotional acceptance, regulation, and value-driven actions.
